An evening bag has two jobs: carry the few things you need, and finish the outfit. Get both right and it's the piece people remember. Here's how to choose one, whether you're heading to a wedding, a party or a dinner out.
First, check what it has to hold
Evening bags are small by design, so measure your phone first. Most nights you need your phone, a card or two, keys and a lipstick. Compact sizes like 17 x 16cm or 24 x 17cm usually hold exactly that.
Pearls: classic, soft and wedding-friendly
Pearl bags feel timeless and work especially well with satin, silk and pale colors. The Beaders are covered in structural pearl beadwork (part of the bag itself, not glued-on decoration), with a beaded double handle and a soft bow detail. They come in Beige or Silver.
Rhinestones: the sparkle option

- Busy dress, quiet bag. With sequins or a strong print, choose pearls or a single-color bag.
- Simple dress, statement bag. A plain black or slip dress is the perfect backdrop for all-over rhinestones.
- Match the metals. Silver stones with silver jewelry, gold with gold. It instantly looks intentional.
Keeping it sparkling
Wipe rhinestone and pearl bags gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid water and harsh cleaners around the settings, and store them in a dust bag so the stones don't rub against other bags.
