A gym bag has a harder life than any other bag you own. It gets dropped on locker-room floors, stuffed with damp towels and carried straight to work. The right one makes the routine easier. Here's what to look for.
1. Separate your shoes
The single most useful feature in a gym bag is a dedicated shoe compartment. It keeps dirty soles away from clean clothes and your lunch. The Shifters have one built in, separate from the main space.
